HOW TO COOK OKPA

This is how to cook Okpa (Bambaranut pudding). Okpa di oku, okpa wawa, okpa Nsukka, Okpa Enugu, Okpa can be pair with pap, akam, ogi or any soft drink (coke, fanta etc) of your choice. Bambara nut pudding aka okpa in the eastern part of Nigeria. Okpa is a Nigerian delicacy popularly known among the Igbos in Nigeria.

INGREDIENT

12 Cups of okpa flour

9 cups of warm water

3 cups of palmoil

Salt

Pepper

Seasoning cube

PROCEDURE

In a big bowl, mix all the dry ingredients together.

Add palm oil bit by bit as you stir.

Add warm water and stir thoroughly.

Pour in a container of your choice.

Put into a pot of boiling waster and allow it to cook for about 30-40 minutes.

Okpa is ready.
